Joining together two codebases to deliver a single unified TV experience with improved performance, as well as a smooth and consistent spatial navigation system.

Challenge

Endeavor, a white-label streaming platform, maintained separate codebases for native and non-native TV platforms. This resulted in inconsistent user experiences, performance issues, and inefficient feature deployment. Econify's team was brought in to support Endeavor in overcoming these challenges and finding relevant solutions.

Solution

Econify's team developed a unified architecture for Endeavor's white-label TV experience using modern technologies, including React, React-Native, and React-Native-tvOS while at the same time maintaining existing services. Enhanced React-Native-tvOS core functionality was implemented and render cycles were optimized through rewrites of the codebase. The solution we developed enabled Endeavor to spin up new platforms with ease and improved speed.
